The 6 Elements of Joyful Leadership
Below are the six elements that comprise the Joyful Leadership model. Together, they form a practical and human centered framework for leading people, teams, and organizations with clarity, connection, and intention.
1. PRINCIPLES
Values/Mission/Vision - the foundational elements of all organizations which drive and guide every decision.
2. PROCESS
The engine that allows your organization to run efficiently.
Without Process, you have chaos.
3. PRESENCE
A leader's ability to be present with its people and organization is essential to ensuring people feel supported.
4. PEOPLE
People are the single most important asset of a company.
Leaders must be intentional in how they select their people, both inside and outside of the organization.
5. PERSPECTIVE
The ability for leaders to be open to the perspectives of others is essential for growth.
6. PLAY
Play creates a culture of teamwork, creativity, innovation, & fun, and is vital for psychological safety.
